After Koh Chang, we will head to Koh Payam, to pick up our remaining guests there. Please make sure you check the meeting- and departure time as above.

Heading to the Surin islands

When everybody is onboard, we will start heading to the Surin Islands. We will give a specified boat briefing for this tour, including introducing our crew, explaining about safety rules, showing you around onboard and so on.

On our way to the Surin islands we will also setup your dive equipment, ready for you to start the first dive the next morning. When everybody is comfortable settled and sleeping in the cabins or under the stars if you prefer, we arrive at the Surin islands.

Day 1

The first dive  of the cruise will be at Richelieu Rock, which can be described as a big aquarium, as you will find almost everything here of which you can also see in the fish books...
It’s also said to be one of the places in Thailand where you will have the biggest chance to see Whale Shark. The last two seasons this has been wright actually. You can see schools of barracuda, batfish, Jacks, lots of fussliers in many different colours who make the view always busy, all kind of pipe fishes, seahorse and many time cute actions of cuttle fishes and more...

As we come back to this beautifull dive site on the last day we first go ahead towards Koh Tachai for the second and third dive of the day. Koh Tachai is actually our favourite place as there is most of the times so many fish action - unbelievable. Wether it's the group of more than 500 Barracudas, the Jacks hunting, Tunas patrol, Leopard Shark passing by, a big group of Lonfish s floating around...But be aware, this place also offers some good current from time to time.

For the last dive we are sailing on to Koh Bon. Here our man misson is defintely to see a Manta Ray. Often that is working out as the ridge in the southwest of the island is a Manta Ray playground. This dive can be sunset or night dive. Koh Bon Bay offers pretty good shelter for a comfortable evening & night.

Day 2

Today we will do 1 morning dive at Koh Bon Pinacle. Early morning we are almost all the time alone here. The place is not as big but very nice. The main show are giving the Jacks as they are huntng for crazy over here. We may see Leopard SharK in the deeper area Octopus, Stone fish and lots of yellow softcorals.

After this dive we will cruise on to the Similan Islands. The second dive of the day should be at Elefant Head Rock. A very special dive site with lot's of big boulders building a nice parquout of archways and swim throughs. Great scenary with lot's of marine life. Big trevallies are around, sometimes you can see a glimpse of blacktips, Mantis shrimps are common.

The third dive will take place at Deep Six, another nice and impressive boulder site. If we jump at the right time the current can actually take us all around the dive site. While that panoramic tour we can see schools of barracuda, schools of batfish, sting rays, huge Pufferfish, lionfishes and scorpionfish to just mention some.

Afternoon dive will be at Anita's reef. Huge coulourful bommies in the sandy parts around 20 meters. Garden eels, flounders and lots of stuff in the sand. Nice and easy dive just before sunset.

Mooring place is usually shelter around island No. 4.

Day 3

First Dive of the day still at the Similan Islands at Christmas Point. Situated on the very northwestern point of the Similan islands, you will find one of the most scenic sites in all the Similans. With massive boulder formation breaching the surface, shelfs dropping to 30, then to 40, and onwards beyond 70 meters with massive gorgonian fans the area can be breathtaking. On these deeper shelves, look for white-tip reef sharks as well as napoleon wrasse. Look closely for ribbon eels in the sandy areas. Heading back towards the shallows brings you over massive fields of multicolored bush corals to the South or several amazing swim-throughs towards the East.

The second dive we will jump at the wall, a little inside the bay of Koh Bon. A pretty colourful wall with some unique nudibranches will lead us towards the outer place of the bay which continous into the ridge. Here we hang out a while, looking into the blue, enjoying the small Napoleon family while wating for a or some Manta Rays to appear.

For the third dive we will find us back at Koh Tachai. From there we go ahead for a sunset- or night dive to the Surin Islands at Koh Torinla. A good chance to see smaller Reef Sharks, usually lots of Blue Spotted Sting Rays, Turtle. That's also where we moor for the night at the Surin Islands.

Day 4

This day gives everybody 2 more dives at the beautiful Richelieu Rock. At this place you will never get enough and will always see something more or somethng you have never seen before. Make also sure you best have a little torch with you to be able to watch into all these wholes and cracs. You will be amazed what you can find!
After this 2 dives we sail back up north to the islands Koh Payam and Koh Chang and to Ranong.

  • During our tours we're always surrounded by beautiful landscapes
  • Strangely enough, whale sharks are seen more and more during each following dive season. In the last seasons we had many dives with meeting these majestic animals, where as many years ago it' was very rare to see them.
  • Relaxing onboard inbetween the dives
  • Descending to the blue via the buoy line.
  • At Koh Tachai we often see big swarms. Fusliers glide in hundreds over the reefs.
  • Richelieu Rock is only coming out during low tide. It is probably the best dive site Thailand has to offer in the Andaman Sea.
  • The Surin Islands are far from shipping lains and the main land. Protected white powdered beaches and aqua blue water await you here.
  • The island Koh Bon has a whole! This photo is taken out of the sheltered bay.
  • At the sceneries of the underwater life at the Similan islands you can make great panorama dives.
  • The beach at Donald Bay is very inviting. You can snorkel from the boat to the beach. Often people walk up the giant rocks where you'll experience great views of the Similan National Marine Park.
